Why am I being screened?
Screening confirms what you've shared. It doesn't decide your outcome.
Your employer, prospective employer, or another organisation has asked AMS Inform to run a background screening as part of hiring, onboarding, compliance, or risk management.
Screening helps confirm information you've provided and assess matters relevant to the role or relationship.
We verify, we don't decide
AMS Inform does not make the hiring decision. We conduct the authorised checks and report findings to the organisation that requested the screening.
You should know the purpose
You should be told why your personal data is being processed. Transparency about purpose is a core privacy requirement.
Your questions, answered
Everything a candidate needs to know

Contact candidate supportWhat happens if something doesn't match?
If a check finds a difference between what you provided and what we verify (for example employment dates, education, or identity details), we report the finding to the organisation that requested the screening. You may be asked for clarification or supporting documents. A mismatch is not an automatic fail: the requesting organisation decides how to proceed.
How is my data protected?
AMS Inform handles personal data under strict security and confidentiality controls, including ISO 27001 practices. Your information is collected for authorised screening only, shared with the requesting organisation as needed for that purpose, and protected with access controls and secure systems.
Does a finding mean I will fail my background check?
No. AMS Inform does not make hiring or clearance decisions. We report verified findings to the organisation that ordered the check. That organisation applies its own policies and any legal requirements when deciding next steps.
How long does screening take?
Timing depends on the checks ordered and the countries involved. Some digital checks return quickly; education, employment, or court checks can take longer when institutions or records need manual confirmation. The organisation that requested your screening can share the expected timeline for your package.
Who sees my report?
The report goes to the organisation that authorised the screening (typically HR, talent, or compliance for that employer or client). AMS Inform staff involved in completing the checks may access your data as needed to deliver the service. We don't share candidate reports for unrelated marketing or with third parties outside the authorised screening workflow.
How do I raise a concern or correct information?
If you believe something in your screening is wrong, or you want to understand what was processed, contact AMS Inform candidate support and share your full name, the organisation that requested the check, and any reference number you were given. We'll guide you on correction or clarification steps. Email: hello@amsinform.com. Phone: +91 120 601 5500.
